Acquiescence bias is the tendency to agree with statements regardless of their content - to say "yes", "agree" or pick the positive option to be agreeable, avoid effort, or please the researcher. If every question is phrased so that agreeing sounds positive, this bias quietly inflates your results and you measure politeness instead of opinion.
Agree with everything and the "ease score" sailed to the top - even though you never actually evaluated anything. That's acquiescence bias: when every statement is worded so yes is the rosy answer, a survey rewards politeness, not honesty. Slip in a reverse-worded item and the easy agreement suddenly contradicts itself.
