What this video covers
Filtering narrows a list using a rule you choose; faceted search lets you combine several such rules - by category, price, size, or availability - each based on the items’ own attributes, and shows how many results each choice would leave. It turns a broad, flat result set into something you can shape precisely to your needs.
Each box you ticked carved the set down and the count fell with it - twelve became a handful you could actually choose from. You never scrolled a wall of results; you described what you wanted and the list obeyed. That's faceting: the user sets the rules, the set narrows to fit.
