What this video covers
The noble edge effect is the boost a brand gets when it's seen to act ethically or generously: a company's social responsibility makes people view its products more favourably, trust it more, and prefer it over rivals. Doing visible good gives the brand a "noble edge" that spills over onto how the whole offering is judged.
The same product felt more appealing once you knew the maker genuinely does good - that warmth carried over onto the thing itself. That's the noble edge effect: ethics as a real competitive advantage. But notice the condition baked into the demo - it only works when the good is credible. Fake it, and the edge becomes a cliff when people find out.
