What this video covers

Scarcity creates pull by making something feel more valuable when it seems rare or about to run out - like 'only 2 left' or 'offer ends in 5:00'. It works because the sting of losing an option outweighs the pleasure of gaining one.

The clock ran down, the stock looked thin, and you felt the small urge to act before it was too late. Then the timer hit zero and simply started again - because the deadline was never real. That gap, between the urgency you felt and the scarcity that actually existed, is the whole tactic.
