What this video covers

Temptation bundling is pairing something you should do but tend to avoid with something you want but feel you shouldn't overdo, so the two together become genuinely appealing. Only letting yourself watch your favourite show while on the treadmill, or saving a great podcast for the commute, turns a chore into something you look forward to.

The chore on its own you'd keep putting off; bundle it with something you actually enjoy and suddenly you're looking forward to it. That's temptation bundling: the want pulls you through the should, and the should makes the want feel earned. Pairing an avoided-but-valuable action with a genuine pleasure is one of the most humane ways to help people follow through on what they already mean to do.
